April 26, 2023

Allow me to start off by saying thanks to everyone who responded to yesterday’s post about the president’s proposal for saving water. Would you believe, all but one of this reading group responded in a positive manner to yesterday’s post. Yes, we know that one person was too busy to take time to read the Don’s article, and we know, you will likely not read todays article which is a follow up to yesterday’s article. Boy, there are a lot of articles in that sentence.

Well, all you wonder filled readers except for that one person, and we know who you are, were in favor of the president’s proposal for saving water. I feel sure you will also be in favor of the second part of the president and his green horn groups proposal for even more saving of water. This part is very simple, and some of you may actually enjoy this new proposal.

Simply stated, all bath tubs will be removed, or deactivated. In short no more baths!

In addition, there will be a robotic device installed on all shower heads that will limit the amount of water that may flow through the device to 2 minutes in a 24 hour period. When the shower is turned on, if it runs for 30 seconds and shut off, it will still have 1 minute and 30 seconds of run time. So, you can get wet in 30 seconds, and then turn the water off, soap up, and then turn the water back on and rinse off.

The president and the green horn group have suggested that two people should take their shower at the same time. This way one person will not get less time in the shower than the other, and maybe our backs and back sides will be properly washed.

As with yesterday comment, these rules will not apply to the president, his green horn group, his doners, or to any politician on the left.

Your president and his green horn group have some very good ideas, consider all this when you vote in the next election.

Topic change; we did very little yesterday. My favorite wife did get a couple new flowers which she planted in pots in the front yard. A neighbor and good friend and I got together and cut up a limb in a neighbor’s yard yesterday. We both knew that the person who lived there could not cut the limb up so we offered our service. The two of us were able to get the big limb made small enough that the pieces can be placed in trash containers. It may take a few weeks to get rid of all the now small pieces, and yes there is a pile in the yard near the street.

I did get the Alex from school yesterday and get him home safely. My present wife and I did sit outside for a while yesterday afternoon.

It is raining again, but as for now it is light rain. We may have some storms this afternoon and evening. Well, I guess that is it for now, we hope you have a good day, stay safe and be nice!

Shower 1 + 1 = 2

Senior ole person who might just like someone washing my back, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
