This morning, Tres and I decided since it was cool outside (48 degrees) we would start a little later than usual. It is such a pretty day, the cool air, no clouds in the sky, and the sun seemed to be brighter than usual. As we walked, we both wished we had brought our sun glasses. As I stated yesterday, we have many things to be thankful for, and this morning’s walk, is one of them! I took a photo showing part of the street that we walk on. It is calm and very nice for walking. In the photo we see about one third of our walking distance.
I have been moving some ole videos that we had taken many years ago, from the VHS tapes to the SD card on the computer. Yesterday during my morning walk I found a penny in the street. Now the penny was scratched up from vehicles running over it, but I could tell it was heads up, AKA good luck for the Don!
Later that same day, I found a VHS tape that my brother Jack had sent me many years ago. On this VHS tape were ole movies that my Dad had taken back in the 60s. I have moved part of them to the SD card and hopefully will move the rest today. Talk about good luck, I feel both lucky, and Thankful, to have the tape. Wow, there are many things to be Thankful for!
Allow this journalist to move to another topic please (there I go again being nice). A neighbor asked me, have you seen all the geese flying over, I had not. Later, there was a large number of Crane’s flying over and the neighbor thought they were geese. I have hunted geese, and these birds were not geese. Photo to follow.
I need to get a cup of coffee and get started moving the videos. Yep, occasionally watching a video from 60 years ago, will bring a tear to my eyes.
