Scrapper did it 05.11.2022

This was supposed to be posted on the 10th, but problems occurred.

Before we get into the scrappers work, I could not connect to the internet with my computer, but I seem to be able with my phone. It took two days to get it fixed.

As the scrapper had mentioned in an earlier post, he needed to make a small table to be placed in a flower bed so we can set a flowerpot on it. Now the scrapper went out into the back 40 and acquired all the pieces of scrap wood that might be used in a project of this type. Most of the scrap wood came from two ole sawhorses, photo of part of one to follow.

The scrapper had to remove the nails that were holding the metal clamps on the 2X4s. It would be nice if an ole retired person could afford new wood for his projects, but that might make them too easy.

The ole scrapper had previously drawn some ideas of how to put this plant holder together. Using the measurements from the plan, he began to measure twice and cut once. As he was cutting these pieces of scrap, he was then putting them together.

With most of the frame together, as seen above, he then created a top and a lower shelf, for the plant holder, photo to follow.

This wonder filled project will need to be painted before we put it into the flower bed, but we did use it Monday afternoon to sit our drinks on, as we sat outside together.

The table is verified to hold up to 100 pounds and I have a couple photos indicating that the small scrap wood table will hold 100 pounds. I put both photos of the table on the blog, knowing that you might want to choose from the two, have one enlarged, and place it in a frame to put on your wall. The scrapper’s work displayed in your home, will brighten the room!

You are special!

Senior retired person who can scrap with the best of them, Don the Ford
