October 31, 2024

It is Halloween and it is raining, we hope it continues to rain but they say it will stop in about an hour, oh, I should say good morning to all.

We are not supposed to get much rain from this cold front, but they say the next front in a few days will likely bring more rain. We did get a little less than ½ inch of rain, that helps but we need more.

Yesterday: I did remove a few more acorns from the front yard, I used the roller and got several acorns. I was attempting to get the acorns I could see, not raking for those under the grass. The roller works well, and it is much easier than raking. Maybe this rain will wash the leaves down the street away from the curb in front of the house. Maybe I should go down to the end of the cul-de-sac and see how many acorns end up there after the rain.

I just returned from taking the grandkids to school. I learned that they do not have school tomorrow, I don’t know why. Alex will be going out of town for the freshmen football game this afternoon so he will miss out on Halloween. Gabi and her boyfriend plan to go tricker treating, I think they are a little to old for that.

I do have a photo of a flower that is blooming, I don’t think this flower knows it is supposed to be fall.

We usually go out on Thursday afternoon / evening for supper, but since it is Halloween, we will go out for breakfast this morning and stay home this evening.

The rain makes it to wet for ole people to get outside and work, so I guess I will just stay inside and take several naps today.

We hope you have a good day; stay productive in all you do and please be safe.

Blooming!

Senior ole person who could use some breakfast right now, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
