October 19, 2024

I would like to wish you a good morning but, instead, I will present you with a very good morning! Well, we are back to Saturday again and hopefully on a somewhat normal schedule.

Yesterday was a fairly good day, the leftovers I had for lunch and supper were still good. We did get to wash the dog yesterday and I did water the black berries. Everything is so dry, and everything needs a good rain.

Odd subject: the crows are making an unusual amount of noise, it sounds as if they are having a riot outside, and I can’t see any of them on the security video. I wonder if a hawk has come into the area, or if it is a dispute between two flocks of crows. The noise went on for several minutes.

Our plans for the day are the normal Saturday schedule with the exception I might stop at the booze emporium to see if I can procure a bottle or two. In other words, our Saturday may be a normal ole person’s boring day.

Different subject: I had previously commented in another posting about how I get easily distracted when doing most anything. I was again distracted yesterday when I was attempting to do my homework for the bible study class. Our cat Molly has always been able to open the door to the office if it isn’t securely shut. Yesterday as I was sitting here at the Ford’s ole desk, there was a scratching sound and then the door came part way open, yep it was Molly. Now opening the door was not a big distraction but what followed was. I have a photo which is worth 1002 words.

Now don’t try to tell me that is not a distraction.

Ok, lets swap themes: my favorite wife and I did sit out yesterday afternoon, the weather was outstanding with a temp of about 80. A friend from down the street stopped by and we all had some good conversations. After about 30 minutes she headed for home and the neighbors from across the street came over, with their grandson and his daughter, Paisley. Now Paisley is a live wire, and she is a very smart young girl. She will convers with ole adults and she will tell you what she thinks. Our time with them was very interesting and fun.

Well, I guess I should stop for now and see if I can rest up after all this data entering. We hope everyone has a good day filled with family and or friends, and as always be safe in all we do.

Normal Sat all day schedule.

Senior ole person explains, sat all day is a diversion of Saturday, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
