Well, we made it through the weekend, I guess that is a good thing.
Tres, the Ford’s ole pot hound is in the garage and the garage door is raised about 8 inches. Tres seems to enjoy laying there looking under the door. I assume looking under the door is better than looking through the fence around the back 40.
Tres seems to have a dislike of black birds. When one lands on the driveway, he will bark at them to scare them off. I have seen him, while in the back yard, run after the black birds to keep them out of his yard. The other birds don’t seem to get his attention.
Another day without; Something to do, Coffee and, Naps, for some people, but not ole senior persons. We, ole senior people have more than enough to do, some coffee, and an occasional nap, but we could use extra aluminum cans, we need more! Senior persons funding is always running low.
I did a review of the black berries this morning and both gardens, or black berry beds, depending on what you would call them, have a huge number of berries. We will likely get more than we need, even though the birds will be sharing them with us. The birds usually go for the easy to reach berries, and we, the human population, have to get those that are more difficult to reach. Yes, there will be many injuries to this ole persons hands and arms, as I harvest the berries.
I have a photo of a berry that is starting to get some color, it will not be long before I am totally involved in the harvest!
