That seems like an odd statement to open with, but since the author is odd, why not open with and odd statement. What I really wanted to state is, “Some are here, many others are coming”!
I have often wondered why the schools are not teaching the kids cursive writing in grade school. If the children can only read print then what happens if they find something that was hand written?
Now that I think of it, the only thing that a person or child needs to be able to write is their name. Contracts and everything else is in print. This computer is showing everything in print, although I can change it to something that looks like it is written. Heck that is much better than my hand writing has ever been.
I answered my own question, there is a machine that will do it for the kids. Now we come to the other part of this soon to be poorly written article and that is, robots will take over for humans in the future and the human species will think that is great.
There are already lawn mowers that mow without a humans help, cars that drive themselves, heck you don’t even need to know how to enter data into the computer, all you need to do is talk and it will print it out for you. They have robots cooking burgers and building cars, air planes fly themselves most of the time. We don’t use maps anymore since we have GPS, we don’t read book or look things up in a book since we have smart phones.
Some are here, many others are coming and there is nothing you can do about it. Right now most people think it is great to have a machine do things for them. In the near future machines will do almost everything. At some point people will want to undo these creations, sorry Charlie, it will be too late.
