I continually hear about these offers to help people reduce their federal income taxes. The commercials often show examples of someone who owes let’s say $20,000, but after their negotiations with the IRS, their taxes are reduced to let’s say $3,000.
Now I know this is great for the people who owe large amounts. My question is, how the rest of us benefit from this type of “forgiveness”.
If you have used or need to use this process then it is fair to you.
If you have always paid your taxes is it fair to you?
