We made it to Friday, now we are almost to the weekend. We hope you have a plan for the weekend as we do, our plan is to do as little as possible, and as for me I hope to get a nap or two today.
I do find it odd, when I am outside working on something I am alert and sometimes actually focused on what I am doing. When I sit down on the Ford's ole recliner, I get sleepy, and I often take a short nap. By short I mean 10 to 15 minutes.
Let's see what I have done or will do today. Tres and I took a walk before sunup. Yes, it was dark, and I did carry a flashlight. Returning home, I mounted the Ford's ole Chevy and drove to the gas station where I filled the gas tank. I then drove to the coffee place, where there were only two cars in the drive through ahead of me. Coffee in the vehicle, I then head for the burrito place where I was greeted with, "you are the early bird this morning". Arriving at home I have eaten the burrito, I am drinking my coffee, and I am creating this soon to be Blog posting.
I need to go pull some weeds from the berry beds; I don't like to do that as I need to be on my ole knees during the process. I need to pick up any debris from both yards, then I need to mow the grass in the front yard.
I will be available to get Dave from work, and I will get the grand kids from school this afternoon. As you can see, I may not get a nap today! 😐
Yesterday: I finished the work on the generator. I ran it until it ran out of gas, then I removed gas lines, and the on/off valve in an effort to remove any excess gas. I opened the gas tank and left it open until it was completely dry (I did blow air into the take to evaporate the gas). I do have a photo of the generator.
Yes, it is stored under the scrap wood bench, which protects the generator, and doubles as a shelf to place odd items on. There are heavy duty extension cords on top of the generator, under the scrap wood bench. You are correct, I do make good scrap wood projects.
Well, I need to stop this, and get started on doing nothing again today. We hope you have a good day.
Work no, nap yes!
Senior person who needs to get going, Don the Ford
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
