This morning, as the Tres was taking me for a walk, I noticed that he was looking down the street. Now Tres has excellent eyesight, so I decided to attempt to also see what he was observing. Then I saw it, this small dog was leading a neighbor lady up the street, as we were heading down the street.
At this time, I should note, along with the neighbor lady and her small dog, there was at least two cats, one orange and one black. The cats were as close to the neighbor lady as the small dog was, but they were not on leads. As we approached the group, the small dog decided to bark at Tres. Tres didn’t bark back; he knows that all small dogs try to be mean to big dogs.
Let’s see what happened yesterday. I did not find the pumpkins that my favorite wife has been looking for, and I went through the entire shed. After all that grueling work, I returned to the Ford’s Garage where my present spouse was working. She went through a lot of items, saying that she will have a garage sale in the near future. I went through items on the other side of the garage, continuing to look for those pumpkins, they were not found.
I did clean out some items, swept the floor, tossed out some junk, and reorganize some items. I was working to clear the so-called workbench off; it is so called because one can’t work on it due to the items placed there. I did get a portion cleared off, but still have some to remove.
I have a rolling cart and I was reviewing it, when I decided to open the toolbox that is on the lower shelf. This toolbox was full of tools, and it has probably not been opened in the last couple years. To explain, I have a large toolbox, on top of another large toolbox, which has wheels, together they are about 5 feet tall. I normally use the tools from the large toolboxes.
Note: in the shed there is another set of large toolboxes about 5 feet tall, and there are several other toolboxes, some of the small toolboxes in the shed are for specific things, such as ham radio work, and other specific tasks. You might say that I have collected a bunch of tools over the years.
Topic change: Alex has his first real football game today and it is in Copperas Cove TX. Depending on which route one takes, it can take from and hour and five minutes to an hour and 15 minutes to get there. The concern is, the game starts at 5:00, Gabi gets out of school at 4:00, I usually have her in my vehicle about 4:15. We pick Gabi up, we may pick David up depending on when he gets off work, Claire is going to try to get off work early, then we head out of town. Who knows how this will work out.
My first wife and I sat outside yesterday afternoon, even though it was hot, and I got a photo of a cloud which I will add to the posting.
That’s it for now, wish us luck in getting to the ball game today, and hope your day is pleasant and safe.
Have a flexible schedule!
Senior person who hopes he gets to the game before it is over, Don the Ford
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
