Thursday, working again 05/02/2019

Well, I have been allowed to work again. My spouse and I will attempt to finish the wall today, which is everything except the doors, which I will be allowed to do as the last part of the project.
I noted yesterday, that due to the possibility of rain, I should mow my yard. I didn’t, but one of the neighbors did. I give up, and I resigned from the leadership position of the neighborhood appearance committee for equal and fair appearances. (Keeping all homes looking about the same, is that a socialistic neighborhood.)
I did go out into the ditch behind the homestead and cut the weeds yesterday. The City should do their job, so a 71 year old senior person, should not need to be cutting weeds in a drainage ditch. There is water standing in the bottom of the ditch, so I can’t cut those weeds as I am on a fixed income and it cost money to purchase boots.
I was allowed to relax in the ole rocker yesterday and that is when I observed Molly taking a break. Why would a cat with a tail want to take a break under a rocking chair? Scary! Photo to follow.

We did get about 1 inch of rain last night, possibly more coming today and tomorrow.
Well, I got to go now, my spouse of half a century has informed me that I am allowed to get to work on the wall in the bed room.
