The title, “Thank God or Goodness”, is worded that way in an effort to allow each of you to decide how you want to say thanks for the rain we are receiving in Hewitt Texas this morning. It is a light rain and I appreciate each and every drop that falls. Being in a severe drought, any rain is appreciated.
The sprinklers did sprinkle this morning, and the rain is adding to the moister on the ground. We only need 1 inch a day, every other day, for two weeks to catch up.
I have a couple photos of clouds, and in truth, I don’t care if you like them or not, I do. I think some clouds are very interesting and I am putting a couple in this posting. Click on the photo to not appreciate them!
Those two photos were from yesterday in which we did not get a rain. It did sprinkle but not enough to cover the driveway.
Now let’s get to a different subject that I feel it necessary to discuss.
Men! Men who wear a suit or sports coat, have a tendency to follow the fashion worlds reasoning as to buttoning only one button on the jacket. Most men should either leave the coat unbuttoned or button both buttons. I have an example to show you in the following photo.
A very skinny man might get away with the single button and not show his shirt, belt and tie below the single button. Too many men have coats that are not appropriate for their belly size.
There are those men who have the jacket made for them, and thinking that their shoulders are large, and their belly is small, they only button the one button and you still see the belt, shirt and tie below the button.
The photo was taken from our TV, and if you recognize what program was on, you watch too much of the “Q” sales program.
If men were to use only the one button, there would be only one button!
There may be one exception, which just came to mind. A cowboy wearing a coat with one of those big western belt buckles, should only button one button, allowing others to enjoy his buckle!
The light rain has stopped for now, more to come, we hope!
Look not at the man’s belly, and you may not be irritated.
