November 6, 2024

Good morning and it is over, the presidential race is over. I was hoping it would reduce the ads and commercials about politics, but I doubt that it will.

I went to get breakfast burritos this morning and they are good. I will take one to Alex when I go get him to go to school.

Well, it is cool enough to have the furnace on, that is it is 46 degrees outside. I guess I should flip the switch from air conditioning to furnace, but there will be a smell of some dust when the furnace heats up. Ok it is on and we smell the dust.

I did install a new light to provide light on the flagpole and flag at night and it worked. Yes, I have a couple photos for “my” enjoyment.

First photo in the day light so you can see the light and the flag, second photo at sunset and you can see the moon in the lower right side, and the third at night and the light illuminates the flag properly. The light was still on this morning at 5:00am.

I just got back from dropping Alex and Gabi off at school. Alex’s last football game for this year is this afternoon, I guess I should get tickets.

I would like to talk about the word Assume again. Now I learned years ago that when we “assume”, we make and ass out of you and me, “Ass-u-me

People in cross walks and people who are not in cross walks should not assume that the driver of any vehicle has seen them, and is going to stop. Vehicle drivers can easily be distracted and the person who assumes they have been seen, can be ran over. Even if you are in a cross walk look both ways and be sure the driver sees you.

Well, I guess I should stop for now, we hope you have a good day and please stay safe in all you do, also be nice to those people who voted for the candidates that lost.

Flagpole light installer.

Senior ole person who needs to do a couple things but don’t want to, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
