Well, it is cold again this morning (49 degrees) but we still wish everyone a good morning. I will need to get out in the cold in a few minutes and hook up the trailer to the pickup in prep for going to the brush day in Hewitt.
Hewitt has a brush and bulk day once a month and a bunch of people like me get in line to get rid of our limbs or bulky items to the trash. Usually, I wait 30 minutes to get the limbs removed from my trailer, and they do the work I just watch. I did check the air pressure on the trailer tires yesterday so I will not need to do that today.
Yesterday’s events: I did move 8 potted plants into the hot house and it is basically full. I have one more big plant to move in, and Alex is coming over today to help with that. While I was moving pots into the hot house, I noticed that the squirrels have been going into the hot house and digging in the pots. I have been leaving the door open to help it stay cooler during the sunny parts of the day, I will need to keep the door shut if I want to keep the squirrels out.
I did pick up acorns and debris from the front yard again, there always seem to be a lot of debris but the acorns were few.
A friend from two houses down the street came up and said our dog was chasing her cats in our back yard. I was surprised at that comment but she said she had seen the cats in the back yard and our dog was chasing them. Now Tres chases squirrels in the back yard but I doubt that he chased cats. This lady said they have three young cats, one gray and two were orange in color. The lady and I went into the back yard and looked around but there were no cats. I have the feeling, she may have saw Tres chasing squirrels, and thought it was the cats.
Today I hope to get the lights hung on the edge of the roof and around the flower beds with help from Alex, if I remember how. I plan to pick him up on my way home from dumping the tree limbs.
If all goes well, we will have time for lunch at the sandwich shop with Alex. I don’t have any other plans for today, we will see what happens. Well, I need to stop and then get going, we hope you have a very nice day and please be safe in all you do.
Limb hauler.
Senior ole person who don’t like the cold and don’t like the hot, Don the Ford.
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
