Non-essential 01.18.18

Today I am commenting on a possible Government shut down. It seems as if those people that many of us voted for, are not able to agree on anything. Not agreeing on anything means, there is no budget.

Politicians will not put a budget together, and may not be able to agree on kicking the can down the road, with a temporary spending bill, aka stop gap measure. If they don’t agree, that would cause a government shut down!

If your government was to have a so-called, “Shut down”, only the non-essential staff would not be working. A quick definition of non-essential staff would be, “Staff that are not absolutely necessary”!

It seems to me, if the staff member is not absolutely necessary then there is no shut down. To continue, if the staff member is not absolutely necessary, why do “you” have them on the payroll?

That is your Government in, non-action!

A couple jobs that are considered as non-essential would be people who work at national parks. Would you believe these park people make $120,000 and up per year, and get their uniforms free? Another non-essential would mean you can’t get a passport, rough isn’t it.

How would you like to be considered as non-essential? Being non-essential might be better that you think. If they shut down the government and these non-essentials were sent home, it would be like a vacation for them. When they go back to work they get back pay for their time off, and they still have their vacation, personal time, and paid holidays. The non-essentials lose nothing in a shut down.

Consider firing all the politicians who have been in office for more than three terms (drain the swamp).

Consider hiring (voting into office) non-politicians, maybe things would get better.

Good Luck, we need it!
