I am here talking to my computer again since I don't seem to have any friends, I just have to talk to my computer all the time but it's not that bad. I guess I should say good morning to all, we hope you have a really nice day.
It is a Tuesday morning here at the Ford homestead I have went outside early and watered the blackberries first off because it's been hot and dry so I figured I'd water them and after reviewing them I see that I need to put in a bunch of work trimming them back and yes there are still a couple berries showing up on it. After watering the blackberries, I went and watered some of the flowerpots that are not covered by the sprinkler system although the sprinkler system did run this morning and watered a big portion of them.
The above done, I went and cleaned out the cat's litter box as I do daily then I washed my hands good and headed off to get me a cup of coffee at the Star coffee place. They did not have my particular coffee so I got a different kind, it's not bad but it's not good either.
My big plans for today would be to get Alex and get him over to school at about 12:30 today as they will be issuing football gear for this football season. After that, there are no really big plans but tomorrow I get to go to the doctor for my annual checkup.
My favorite wife and I did sit outside yesterday afternoon and again no friends drop by we just simply sat there and kind of watched the neighborhood. It's a little more boring now that the ladies that lived on the corner have moved away because we always kind of commented on them, they did a really good job of keeping the yard nice and clean and checking the oil and other areas of their vehicles. They seemed to be good people but without them to talk about we just talk about the birds now.
I mowed the front yard yesterday afternoon seeing that it was nice and shady out there, so I went out to mow. My mower wouldn't start and after checking the spark plug, cleaning it and putting it back I pull the air filter off and for some reason it was soaked with oil so that means I have to go into town and buy a new air filter for that mower. It did finally start after I cleaned the air filter but it sure needs a new one and I think as old as that mower is I might need a new mower but where would I get the money? You know old senior people we just don't have all that money.
I guess I will try to stop for now and try to drink this different coffee. We hope you have a good day, stay safe in all you do and be nice to at least one old person today.
