July 21, 2025

I would like to wish you a good morning but it's almost afternoon as it is 11:40 AM. Yes, I guess you could say I got a late start at my blog today and why is that no one asked well I will tell you. I decided earlier this morning that I would go outside and do some work before it gets hot and that's exactly what I did.

First let me show you a picture of the work I had to do to remove the excess grass that Alex left, that he didn't get mowed the other day. I also have a photo of the mower that I had to use, yes, physically use.

That was the first job I did. Then I went over to a round flower bed and started removing some sunflowers that the birds are squirrels had planted. I removed three of them and then decided I'd get a photograph of the final one so you could see the work I was doing. I also took a photo after the last sunflower was removed, and weeds pulled out of the bed. My supervisor was checking things out to see if I had done the work properly.

Work completed debris discarded into the trash can, I took my old sweaty body into the house and took a nice shower. Once I was cleaned up, I had a sandwich for breakfast even though it was 8:30 in the morning and then I went to get my haircut which now costs a senior citizen $19.00 to get his haircut.

Leaving the hair stylist, I went to the star coffee place and received a cup of coffee. Heading home, I thought when I get to the house, I need to do some work here on this blog but instead I was tired, so I took a nap and now you know how my entire morning has gone.

I have no other real plans for the rest of the day, I will need to sit here and read front the Bible in a little while, I have looked at the front yard and it needs to be mowed but I'm not sure that I will do that maybe, maybe not.

I will stop for now and wish you all a good day and hope that we all stay safe in all we do.

Senior yard worker, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
