July 11, 2025

Good morning to you. We hope your day started off well and we hope it ends up even better.

Today is Friday but it seems like Saturday to me for some reason. I'm in a pretty good mood this morning. I didn't have to put that medicine in my eyes anymore for the pink eye.  My eyes are looking good for an ole person, I had to use that medicine for five days and I'm glad that it's done.

I was thinking about going out in the backyard and starting to weed eat and mowing but then I thought, I'm going to give my yard man Alex a chance. I'm going to call him in a few minutes and see if he's willing to come over and mow probably tomorrow since tomorrow is Saturday, and I keep thinking today is Saturday.

This morning since I was in a very good mood I went and got myself a cup of coffee before I started sitting here in front of this computer talking to it. Yes, I'm entering data verbally and then later I'll go back through and correct my grammar, or it will correct my grammar. We did very little yesterday, it was a good day as we sat out on the front porch for a while. A neighbor asked, "isn't it hot setting out there", and I said, "well we're sitting in the shade and there's a breeze, so it's not too bad.

Later in the afternoon we went for supper. Yes, also known as date night, supper was good. The table we set at was not good there was a glare coming in and getting in our eyes.  We had to find a way to sit with our back to the glare from the windows. Back home we again sat outside for a little while with a cold drink or two and that was what we did yesterday.

Again, there are no plans for today. Hopefully I can get Alex to agree to come over tomorrow and do the mowing, if not tomorrow then today would be OK. We do have a slight chance of rain tomorrow, but I think it will probably miss us.

Well, I will stop for now. We hope you have a good day and that we all stay safe in all we do. Please keep those people in your prayers in the flooded areas.

Eyes back to normal, Don the Ford

May to day be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
