Good morning to everyone. I'm starting a little later than usual, as I've already been over to the doctor's office for my blood test for my annual health review. Do old people have health, I guess we do, and we must be reviewed.
To review some of yesterday's events I did get to water all the pots that have plants in them, and I started mowing the front yard at about 2:00 PM. I had looked outside and saw that the front yard was 87% covered in shade and there was a light breeze, so I thought that might be a good time to mow. I went to the shed and got the lawn mower and the string trimmer and came up and I mowed the front yard.
Then I reviewed the mowing and realized that it did not look good so, I decided instead of mowing I would manicure. Manicure means you mow it twice. Yes, I mowed the front yard twice and yes, it does look a whole lot better.
It took a while after all that work to cool down enough so that we could go outside and sit and see if anything was happening in the neighborhood. It was hot so I set up the big fan. Using the big fan, I can blow air on myself and my wife and make it feel like a nice breeze.
As we sat out there yesterday afternoon, we noticed that the birds "Mama and Papa bird" were not flying up to that bird house as they normally did. We watched for a long time and we came to the conclusion that the baby / babies had left the bird house and Mama and Papa were out teaching them how to survive on their own.
The neighborhood was very quiet yesterday afternoon with no traffic and no friends came by; we just sat outside and enjoy it ourselves.
Well, I have no real plans for the day, I may call the air conditioner guy and have them to come out and check the air conditioner. It's working fine, I just want to get it checked to make sure everything is going good on it.
I'm going to stop for now, so we hope that everybody has a real good day and that we all stay safe in all we do.
Yard man; Don the Ford.
