It is a very wet Monday morning. I have checked the rain gage, and we have close to 3 inches of rain in it now. That 3 inches occurred over the last three days. Even though it is a wet Monday morning I would like to wish you a good morning and we hope you have a good day.
Yesterday was pretty much a do-nothing day since it's too wet to go outside and do anything, heck I'm sitting here looking at the security cameras over the backyard and there's water everywhere, much more than usual, but we did go out for lunch, and it was good. Returning home we set out on the front porch a lot doing nothing just kind of hoping that something nice would happen.
Today, no big plans for the day, uh I need to mow the front yard but that's going to be a couple days for that to dry out enough to be mowed. My favorite wife does need to go to the store and get a couple items so maybe she will allow me to drive her so I get out of the house and have something to do.
Speaking of getting out of the house I did leave the house this morning and go get a cup of coffee at the Star Coffee place. Yes I think that's kind of odd when I could make a cup of coffee here at the house for almost nothing and I go over there and spend almost 3 bucks for a cup of coffee, but there's something about just getting out of the house for a few minutes and getting the coffee, then setting here and sipping on it while I'm doing this post or reading my Bible.
Well I wish I had something else to talk about I really don't, With all this rain those poor people down there that are trying to find the bodies of those dead people where the flood occurred, this rain is just terrible, We hope you keep them all in their your prayers that they will stay safe and all they're doing and find all those bodies.
I guess I will stop for now. We hope you have a good day and that we all stay safe in everything we do.
