It seems like a good morning here in Hewitt, I haven't had to do any work so that makes it a better morning.
Yesterday's events: Mostly normal things occurred yesterday, no hard work to do, I went to the store and purchased a piece of clear plastic 2 foot by 4 foot and brought it home and found out that it was a little too big for what I needed. It is about 1/4 inch too wide and about three- and three-quarter inches too long. Now I'm pretty sure I can take the three- and three-quarter inches off the bottom fairly easy without breaking the big sheet of plastic but taking the quarter inch off the side is going to be very difficult but I, being almost a magician, might be able to do it.
It was hot yesterday afternoon, and my favorite wife and I sat outside. Our friend who normally comes over on Friday could not come as she has been exposed to the covid virus and was told to be confined for about a week.
Looking forward to today's events: Our yard man Alex has agreed to come over and mow the yards this morning I will pick him up about 8:30 and we'll go get a cup of coffee and then come back to the house and he'll get started working about 9:00. Work completed we will probably go into Waco to the lunch shop and get a couple sandwiches for lunch and then all things working properly we will take Alex back home.
Different topic: as usual I have found another item that I did not even know I had. I am not sure when I purchased this item or why I purchased the item but as I happened to look in a drawer here at my desk, I saw a pink colored wire and I thought "what is that" so I took it out and looked at it. It appeared to me to be a light. I connected it to my computer, and it is a light. I don't know why I would have that, but I do. Yes, I have a photograph.
There is no telling what a person might find if they took the time to go through each drawer and all the cabinets and stuff here in this so-called office area. There is lots of items and old items. Many years ago, when the GPS was just getting started, I purchased a portable GPS to use on my motorcycle, and I still have it. Does it work, I don't know.Well, I guess I'll call it quits for now and start getting ready to go get the yard man we hope you have an excellent day, and you stay safe and all you do and that everyone is nice to you.
