It is another good dark morning but since we're all alive and kicking I would say it is a good morning. Yes, I Have had another early start this morning going to get Alex and taking him to school. As I said yesterday, he had to be there at 5:30 to start getting them taped up and dressed up for the football practice.
It is kind of odd when you drop someone off at school and it's still night not even close to being daylight, the sun wasn't even close to rising. Another part to this is I'm supposed to pick him up about 11:00 this morning, that is after the practice and normally, I have my lunch at 11:00am, so what am I going to do, starve to death, probably.
What was I able to get done yesterday in the way of yard work, not a lot. I did pick up sticks out of the front yard after the storm came through yesterday morning, we had a lot of wind and 1/2 inch of rain which means I did not have to water the blackberries yesterday and I did not have to put water in the flower pots either and I did not have to have the sprinklers running this morning nice.
Big plans for today other than trying to get Alex home safe and sound after football practice would be to mow the front yard and then trim it. Mowing is easy the trimming takes more time and is a little more difficult in that you have to put more effort into it.
There have daily been a lot of cars at our neighbor's house, he is on Hospice and not doing very well. Many friends and family members come over and visit and are showing their love for him. We keep him and the family in our prayers.
You didn't ask and I shouldn't tell you, but I did go get a cup of coffee this morning at the star coffee place and I have it here beside me as I am dictating to this computer.
I do have a photo of Some Moon plants in the backyard that were blooming, they only bloom at night and the little white blooms go away in the daytime.
