Good morning to anybody that happens to be reading this. We hope your day starting off well and you have a good day.
For anybody that reads these posts they know that I did not send one yesterday as my day was kind of busy, oddly enough, old people can be busy. What did I do yesterday well early morning; as soon as it got bright enough to see outside, I went out and started working in the backyard since my grandson, "AKA yard man Alex" had a scrimmage football game so he couldn't come over and do my work for me.
I went out back first and picked up all the dog droppings, I then got the riding mower out and after checking everything, adding some gas I started mowing the backyard. Backyard mode, I parked the riding mower then I got the string trimmer out and started trimming everywhere that needed it. The entire process took about an hour and a half maybe and then I went into the house wanting to get a shower and clean up a little bit.
After the shower I started to go in and read my Bible and then I realized that I was tired, so instead of going and reading the Bible I crawled on my recliner and took a nice well-deserved rest, also known as an app. (I did read from the bible later in the afternoon) After the nap was completed, I went ahead and got dressed. My wife and I then headed into town for our Saturday sandwich. Sandwiches eaten, we then headed over to a couple different stores looking for an Angel which my wife could give to our neighbor whose husband passed away. We did not find the Angel. We went to the cheap store where I bought one item and then we came home.
We sat outside yesterday afternoon, part of the time we had the big fan on, and part of the time there was a breeze blowing and we didn't need to have the big fan on. Nobody came over to sit with us, we were all alone in the neighborhood, it was quiet, even the birds weren't too noisy.
Possible things we might do today, we probably will go out for lunch or breakfast depending on our mood or what we are hungry for, when we get there. After that, no big plans. We should return home and try to stay restful and relaxed.
This morning as Tres and I went out front for his check of the front yard I noticed that our yard looked very nice since I had mowed it a couple days ago, and I noticed that our neighbor next door his yard was very nice since his brother had come over and mowed it for him. Two yards side by side both looked really nice. There are other yards in the neighborhood that look nice and then there are other yards.
Well, I guess that is it for now, I will shut up and let you go rest a little bit. We hope you have a very good day filled with lots of friends or family and kindness, please be safe in all we do.
Sunday! Don the Ford
