Good morning. It seems to be a nice morning starting here at the Ford’s house. I am getting a late start here at the computer as I watched the last part of an old black and white silent movie about Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.
Yesterday I did paint the ole rocking chair that sits on the driveway, and I have a photo.
Yes, it is painted in a flat brown color, and it took several hours to paint. It was not easy to get to each place to paint, sometimes the chair was on its back or laying on its front or just sitting upright. It was not easy to get to all the spots, and I have found a couple missed places.
My wife has a plan to paint the ole swing today and I have a before photo.
I did use the pressure hose to wash the stuff off the ole swing frame, but I have seen birds on it this morning, so there may be more items to remove before the painting starts. We discovered that two of the boards on the seat need to be replaced, and I will see if I have some scraps to make the replacements. We did not know that were in bad condition until we removed the cushions.
I need to stop for now and proceed to get the Alex and take him to school.
Ok I am back, and I did get him to school on time. My favorite wife has started painting the ole swing set this morning, and I intend to help her in a little while. First, I need to see if there is any scrap wood that I can use to replace the two seat bords on the swing, and if so, I need to cut them to size and then remove the old and install the new.
I will stop now and get started, we hope you have a good day and stay safe in all you do.

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
