April 12, 2025

Hello to you all and we say good morning and have a good day. I did very little yesterday but very little is a lot to some people, you know ole people.

As I remember, I did not leave the property except for a couple minutes and that was to give Tres a short ride, more about that later.

I did get the riding mower out and I removed the oil from the mower and while it was draining, I started picking up the small debris, little limbs, from the work of the tree trimmers. Now they did a good job of removing the larger particles and limbs but there was a bunch of small stuff in the yard. After about 30 minutes of removing debris, I went back to the mower and removed the filter. Then I installed the new filter and the oil, and I started the mower. After running it for a while I checked the oil and then parked it for today mowing.

I went back to picking up the debris and finally gave up with a whole lot of stuff in the container. I then decide to put some moth balls in the flowerpots to see if that would keep the squirrels out. The squirrels get in the flowerpots and dig down to the roots, I assume they are attempting to hide acorns or something. I have a photo of a flower blooming.

I did put the seat cover in the back seat of the Fords ole pickup so the Tres could ride with me. I needed to get the trailer pulled up to the gate for easy access this morning and Tres likes to get in the pickup with me. After getting the trailer set at the gate and the gate closed, I did take the Tres for short ride, and he did not bark at anyone.

My favorite wife and I did sit outside with a friend yesterday afternoon, and we had some good conversations about the bible and revelations along with other topics.

Well, I need to get going to the dump site, so we wish you a good day and please stay safe in all you do.

Blooms are bright.

Senior ole person who works occasionally but not too much, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
