We want to say good morning to one and all, we are now starting Wednesday as the week continues to progress.
What did the Don do yesterday, absolutely nothing, at least we think he did nothing. The Don and his favorite wife did leave the homestead in the Ford’s ole van yesterday morning with two goals in mind. First, get some gas in the Ford’s ole van, then get some brown paint to paint the ole rocking chair that sits on the driveway and the ole swing set that we use when sitting outside most afternoons. The first gas station was full of vehicles, so we drove on by. The store we went to did not have paint, it is a country-based store, and they had a lot of things but no paint.
The Don then drove to the next gas station where we were able to get some gas. We then headed to the home store where we were able to get the Brown paint. It was lunch time, so we headed to the sandwich shop for a sandwich, fries and a drink. Food eaten; we headed for home where I rested for a while.
Rest completed, I went out to the back 40 where I procured a shovel, and I then dug up two black berry plants that were growing outside the berry bed. I never know whether they will survive the digging and being put into a flowerpot, it takes several days of watering to see if they will live.
I should note; I did pick up some little limbs from the back 40 again, you would think if someone paid $4,000.00 to have the limbs removed and carried away, they would not have little limbs still falling on the ground. I did not pay $4,000.00 to have the limbs cut and removed, but I should not be picking up the little limbs either.
I then pulled weeds from the #2 berry bed, no I did not get them all, but I got several. I do have a photo of the green, black berries. Yes, we have new berries now on the vines, and it will not be long now…
As I was pulling weeds, I noticed a flower which was attempting to bloom, and it grows under the black berries.
Before the weed pulling, I did water the berry beds, it helps when pulling weeds if the ground is a little wet. I have another photo of some blooming flowers, but the photo isn’t very good as the sun was shining on part of the flowers.
All the work completed, and the tools put away, we did sit outside for a while. The birds were flying in and out of the garage, we assume they were clearing out some bugs. I have a photo of one of the birds as he was on a bucket next to the garage door.
We did not have any friends over yesterday afternoon, but we discussed the topic of “Revelations” several times. I will stop for now, we hope you have a good day and please be safe in all you do.
The end times will come.
Senior ole person who has a couple more Bible study meetings, Don the Ford
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
