Did they? They did. They have worked here from noon until 4:30 yesterday. They had a problem getting the large corner cabinet in the front door, and then there was a problem getting it through the door from the living room to the kitchen. This corner cabinet has a Lazy Susan in it. The Lazy Susan has two wheels that rotate allowing access to the corner, making it a usable space. In the past there was nothing in that corner area because one could not see what was there and could not reach into the corner. Why do you think Susan was Lazy?
They have found that the floor is not level, evidently it was poured that way. They are able to shim up the cabinets to keep them level. Always something. They have been installing Ground fault receptacles near where the sink will be. They will need to pull the wires from the old stove top and oven, then replace them with one wire, which will go to the new range.
Different subject; the grand kids made good grades the first six weeks of school. Good grades on the report cards, means a few extra dollars in their pockets. I never had extra money in my pocket due to good grades. I never made good grades!
I have heard of a comment along the line of wouldn’t want to be a long tailed cat around a bunch of rocking chairs. I have a photo which goes along that thought line. Click to enjoy.
Not only is his tail under the rocker, his body is also. Charlie is a trusting cat as long as Tres isn’t around. What? That’s all you can ask after seeing this photo! Yes, that is my knee in the photo, can’t you just stay with the subject one time. I don’t know why I even try to enlighten and provide even a little joy to the reading public.
As I sat outside yesterday afternoon, suddenly the doves flew from the neighbor’s tree, causing me to look up. I only had a quick glimpse of a hawk flying into the tree were the doves were flying from. This hawk was flying at full speed. If he didn’t get a dove, he probably hurt himself due to the speed he was going. I did not see him leave the tree, maybe he had supper in that tree!
Rock and roll carefully if you have a long tail!
