Good morning again and we hope it will be a good day.
Let’s see how yesterday started: I was allowed to get a cup of real coffee as I was going to get Alex. I picked him up at 9:00 and when we arrived home, he started with the trimming of the back yard. After trimming he got the riding mower and mowed the back yard. As I had stated in a previous article, I had mowed the front yard to give him more time to cut the weeds in the ditch. He put in a total of two hours’ working and he did get the ditch completed.
When I was washing dishes yesterday afternoon, I looked out the window to the back yard and saw a very nicely mowed yard and the ditch look good too.
Dave and Claire came over while Alex was working, they were here to pick some black berries. They said they had 24 quarts before yesterday’s picking. They picked what looked like another 6 to 8 quarts.
My favorite wife worked on the wreath and other items on the front porch, changing the flowers and other items.
When Alex had finished his work, I offered to take Alex to lunch, but he said no thanks. I took Alex home and then my favorite wife and I headed into Waco for lunch.
Later in the afternoon we sat outside as my favorite wife made a couple phone calls. The birds were quiet most of the time yesterday, while I killed many flies. Yes, I had my flyswatter in hand, and I had an orange peel laying on the little table near me. Evidently, the flies like the orange peel.
I was allowed to take a frozen pizza from the freezer and heat it up for supper. After eating I was also allowed to wash the dishes and I started this article. Yesterday had several activities that kept me going, and it was last night before I was able to do my bible reading.
Today: possibly lunch at the cracker store and then after a rest period I will be allowed to wash the clothes.
Allow me to stop for now and wish you a good and safe day.
Mr. Donnie the Ford
