June 13, 2026

We want to toss a good morning to you, and that other person too.

Note: my computer always attempts to correct my comments into something that would be correct and proper English. Let me tell you. I was born and raised in Missouri and my comments are correct and proper Missouri words, and this machine may correct my spelling, but I will use my words!

Yesterday’s major events: I mowed the front yard. Mowing the front yard is a part of my plan for today. By me using my ole body to mow the front yard, our yard man Alex will have more time to mow the back yard and then remove some weeds from the ditch.

I usually say that a 92-year-old person should not have to mow the yard and I shouldn’t either, but in this situation, I think the 92 year ole person should mow the yard as he gets some exercise, and I should also get some exercise.

Speaking of mowing, the grass in the front yard was tall as usual and I had decided to lower the mower one notch. The mowing left a lot of grass cuttings laying there and if it had not been so hot I might have mowed it twice to make the clipping smaller.

My favorite wife and I sat outside yesterday afternoon with a friend, and we did have the big ole fan turned on most of the time.

Speaking of friends, one of our friends and family are going on vacation. We will keep an eye on their home while they are gone and put out their recycling bin on trash day.

Well, I need to get going so I will stop and get started. Have a good day and stay safe in all you do.

                Mr. Donnie the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
