Good morning to all. We made it through a night of rain and some small storms. I checked the rain gage this morning and we received almost 2 inches of rain. Verification photo to follow.
In the above photo you may see the water standing near the back patio and if you look a little further out, you'll see the mushroom leaning over. We do get extra rain in this area as the roof drains to this area, so you get two inches of rain plus all the water off the roof, thus standing water.
I also have a close-up photo of the mushroom as it was leaning over.
Hopefully I will quit being enchanted with the mushroom and stop sending photos.
I have already gone to the star coffee place and got a cup then I went to the Burrito place and got a burrito which I shared with my favorite wife.
Yesterday: I Did go get a few groceries at the big grocery store made it back home safe and sound where I was able to rest for a while.
After the rest period I came in here to the computer and turned it on and wanted to look at some of the old notes and stories that I had written in the past. I was more than surprised at some of the notes I found. One section which was based on work from the olden days. As I read some of the notes I went wow, I remember those things.
I took one of them and put it on this blog, but I've thought about it and it was so long like 3 pages that I decided nobody would want to read it, so I am just going to comment on it. It was about interviewing new applicants with the proper procedures. One of the big important things was body language of both the interviewer and the interviewee.
You are possibly aware that the police often use body language to help them in understanding if people are telling the truth or lying. I have read a couple of books on body language, and it is interesting when I think about body language.
Everybody understands some body language without actually thinking about it. Consider, your husband went in and ate the last three cookies out of the cookie bowl and you say to him, “did you eat those cookies”, he won't look you in the eye, he looks down at the floor and says, “no mam” that means he did eat them, that's body language.”
Topic change: We sat outside yesterday afternoon the weather was kind of warm, a nice breeze most of the time. As usual very quiet very quiet neighborhood.
Today’s plan: Today we will take my favorite wife to rehab, and they will be doing an evaluation as to whether she needs to continue or if she can quit. Other than that, there are no big plans for the day.
I am going to attempt to stop for now we hope you have a good safe day, be nice to…
Mr. Donnie the Ford
