Hello and Good morning to all.
A quick look at yesterday’s events: I was able to get Alex to come over and mowed the yards. As usual he did a good job. I have a photo of a mushroom that I find interesting. In the photo it had been knocked over, but it was standing on the stim and it looked like a ball in the grass. The ball was about 3 inches across.
When the work was over, we went to the sandwich shop where we had lunch. The sandwiches were good as usual and then we took Alex home.
Returning to the Ford homestead we were able to rest for a while. Rest completed we then headed back into Waco to the cheap store where my favorite wife purchased a few items. We did have a 10% off coupon.
We then returned home and we sat outside for a while. The weather was good and the neighborhood was quiet as usual. The only noise we had was when the neighbor drove by in his truck and Tres began to bark. Tres barks every time his truck goes by.
As we sat outside, I noticed a new bloom, photo to follow.
Big plan for Sunday; go out to lunch at the Cracker store, we will also take Alex along as he's at home by himself last night due to his parents being out of town. We are not sure when the parents will get back so we thought we'd take him to lunch with us.
Comment: I think it is odd how some of my memories are from things that were not seemingly important at all. I recently told my wife of a memory that I have almost every time I comb my hair. About 68years ago when I was about 10 years old, I was at my nephew Paul’s house. Paul's mother told us to go and comb our hair because we were going with her to town and she wanted us to look good. We went into the bathroom and started combing our hair and I noticed that Paul was combing his hair all straight forward and I started laughing. He wanted to know what I was laughing about, and I said the way you're combing your hair. He told me that his mother had told him always comb his hair straight forward first, then you can comb the part in it easily. I remember that almost every time I comb my hair and yes now, I usually comb my hair forward 1st and then part it.
Old little memories for some reason hang around.
I guess I can stop for now and take a break from all the data entry, we hope you have a good day and please stay safe in all you do.
Mr. Donnie the Ford
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
