Another good morning to all, and we hope all have a good day.

This morning I went to the Star coffee shop and placed my order as I went through the drive through. I arrived at the window and offered my ole gold card but the person at the window would not take it saying, it is free, the car ahead of you paid for your cup. Wow, what a way to start your day, free coffee.

                Yesterday I ventured into the front yard to collect some debris that had fallen from the red oak trees. I did review the weeds in the flower beds and they looked awful. We got some rain last night so I might attempt to remove some of the weeds today. I have a device that I can sit on which might allow me to pull some of the weeds. If it rains the weeds will come out easier and an ole person might be able to accomplish the mission, “senior weed puller”.

                While I was outside, I noticed an open seed pod on the Plumeria. This was the first time I had seen the pod open and the seed were there. You guessed it, I have a photo.

                I was able to get Alex home from school yesterday; I left the house at about 12:00 and they got out at 12:40. I was surprised how many people were already there waiting for their kid. I was able to find a parking space near the main entrance. I did get to play solitaire on the ole tablet while I waited.

                School is out at 12:40 again today and this is the last day of school, and summer break is here.

                My favorite wife and I did go out for date night yesterday, even though it was late afternoon                 and not nighttime. The food was very good, and it was raining when we left the restaurant. We                 did receive ½ inch of rain.  

                Well, I need to stop and take a rest period (aka Nap). We hope you all have a good day and that we all stay safe in all we do.
