May 26, 2026

Good morning to all, as the day seems to be starting off good, no rain yet but there are threats of rain late tonight.

This morning I want to start out with some mushroom photos. The mushroom is still growing. I want to show you 3 photos, first from 3 days ago, second from yesterday and then the one I took this morning. The mushroom today is 7 inches across and from the ground to the top 7 inchees tall.

I do not know if it will continue to grow and change.

I have another photo of a fallen bird nest that is laying in the neighbor’s yard.

Different topic: Well, I'm sitting here at the house I don't need to go get Alex and take him to school or anywhere later this morning. I do need to go to the grocery store and get a grocery or two but other than that there are no big plans for the day.

Yesterday: was a good day we did get Alex to come over, he mowed the yard and he did a really good job. Later in the day David and Claire came over and they brought their little puppy “April” with them. Dave and Claire picked blackberries, now how many blackberries did they get, it appeared to be about 1 1/2 gallons. They were very happy and said they'd be back not today but tomorrow to pick more blackberries.

There new puppy April seemed to be afraid of Tres and Tres seemed to want to play but she was afraid. We think that will change as time passes.

I was allowed to wash the clothes yesterday there wasn't a lot, but it's work for an old person.

My favorite wife and I sat outside yesterday afternoon, and the neighborhood was even quieter than normal. Heck the birds in the bird houses weren't making any noise.

I assume I should stop and take a break from all this data entry, actually, its verbal data entry. We hope you have a good day, stay safe and all you do, and be nice to at least one person today.

                Mr. Donnie the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
