Yesterday I did take the Ford's new Chevy to the repair shop to get an estimate on what it would cost to fix it. They said they would look at it and decide later how they would proceed. I don't think they plan to tell me what it will cost, but I do need to pay the deductible. they sent me some forms to give them permission to work on it. I'm supposed to take it back in on Tuesday next week and they will start working on it.
My one big plan for today is to attempt to sing happy birthday to Alex when I pick him up to take him to school just in a few minutes so I need to stop right now and go get Alex take him to school and I hopefully will return and finish this later.
I am now back and I have effectively taken Alex to school safely and yes, I was the first one to sang happy birthday to him.
As I got out of the Fords old Chevy this morning after dropping Alex off at school I remembered something that happened recently. The top of my head was hurting when I brushed my hair or if I just put my hand up there and felt of it. I thought, "why does the top of my head hurt". Something must be wrong with the bones inside my head. This morning when I got out of the Fords old Chevy, I almost hit my head on the bird house that hangs right there beside where I park the Fords old Chevy. I remembered hitting my head several times on that bird house. Now I remember why my head hurts I need to duck or else move that bird house.
How about another story about the Don? Yesterday after dropping the Alex off at school the Don came home and jumped into his ole recliner. The Don had a cup of real coffee and was drinking from the cup as he reclined in the chair. The problem with drinking coffee in that ole chair is, the Don fell asleep with the cup of coffee in his hand. The Don was then awakened by the feeling of something wet on his leg. Yep, he went to sleep and then spilt the coffee on his leg. What a waste of coffee.
Well, I don't have any big plans for the day, so I guess I will stop for now and wait for the rain to come. We are supposed to get rain over the next several days.
We hope you have a good day and that we all stay safe in all we do.
Don the Ford
