March 24, 2026

                Good morning to all.

Yesterday's events and workload. I would say that yesterday was a day of motion for this old senior person. As usual the first part of my day was getting a cup of coffee at the star coffee place then taking my grandson Alex to school. After that I came to the homestead where I took a few minutes to rest up before going to the grocery store.

I had several things I wanted to acquire yesterday I had a list of my things to to get and a list of things that my favorite wife wanted me to get. Arriving at Wally world my first purchase was to go to the garden department and buy a battery for my riding lawn mower. The battery for the riding lawn mower cost $38 but when I got to the counter to pay for it, they wanted $53.00. The lady at the counter explained that since I did not have the old battery with me, I had to pay the charge of $12.00 which I could recover if I brought the old battery back to the store.

I took the battery out and put it in the vehicle Where I discovered I had a package of toothpaste in the cart that I had not paid for. I put the battery in the car and went back into the store to purchase my groceries and to pay for the toothpaste that I still had in the cart. I try not to cheat anybody. I went through the store to get the groceries that I wanted and the groceries that my favorite wife wanted.

We also want to get a device that would be placed at the toilet which would help ole people get up or down from the toilet seat. This Wally world does not have one.

Back at home after unloading the Groceries from the vehicle, placing some in the cabinets and some in the refrigerator are deep freeze I then started some of my housework vacuuming the floors and washing the clothes. It happened that I had three bunches of clothes to wash which took a little while.

With all that work done it was later in the afternoon, and we headed outside and took a little rest period in the afternoon heat. Now I had Bible study last night so we could only sit outside till about 5:00 PM because I would need to get ready to go and I would also need to prepare supper for my favorite wife.

A good friend from down the street brought us up some flowerpots that hang which they knew I needed because they had seen my comments on the blog. It is good to have good friends who help you out on things like that. We appreciate good friend.

Bible study was good as usual.

Later today I have very little planned, I do want to put the new battery into the riding lawn mower, and I do want to replant a flower or two now that I have pots that are not damaged to put them in. I did not need to take Alex to school today as his mother is off work, so she took him to school.

I am stopping for now, we hope you have a good day and that we all stay safe in all we do.

                                    Ask and you shall receive,

seek and you will find,

knock and it shall be opened.

Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
