            It is a very bright and shiny morning here in Hewitt, so we will wish you a good morning wherever you are.

            This is Saturday and the family are all supposed to be here as we will celebrate Mother's Day a day early, by going out for lunch. I had in a previous note stated that I was going to see if Alex would come over and mow the yards today, but I did not discuss it with him. He brought up the subject that he was going to an interview to see about getting a job for this summer as a lifeguard. We got to discussing that and I never got to the mowing. We will find out today what he learned about the job yesterday.

            Speaking of mowing: I went ahead and using my old senior body I mowed and trimmed the front yard. I am not bragging but, the yard looks as if it has been manicured by a professional. 😊

            Allow me to address another subject: yesterday as I was sitting here at the Fords ole computer, I just happened to look at one of the security monitors. This view is of the front porch, and I could see the two rocking chairs, both on the front porch. The one chair was rocking as if someone was sitting on it and rocking while the other was not moving at all. Before you ask, no there was no body on the front porch and no one in the yard. Was this a supernatural event? 

            Being the knowledgeable person that I am, I quickly reviewed the other monitor that also covers the front porch, but from a different view, and then I saw it, Molly our cat had been in the chair and had jumped out before I had looked at the monitor, causing the chair to rock. No ghost this time just a cat.

            Swap the topic again; yesterday prior to mowing I had proceeded out into the back 40 to review the berry beds. As I was walking across the yard, I heard a noise behind me and when I turned around, I saw Tres with both of his front feet on the patio table, and he was getting the ball that I had place there. Now this is his ball but when we are mowing, we put it on the table to keep it away from him. Obviously, he wanted to play ball and yes, we did play for a while.

            Yesterday afternoon: My favorite wife and I did sit outside for a couple hours, and the weather was attempting to change as we sat there. We felt a couple drops of rain as the clouds began to move in.

 

            All those storm clouds finally went away and friends from across the street came over. We always enjoy friends sitting with us and discussing world events with us.

I started the day as usual with a frozen breakfast sandwich, heated in the microwave, yes it was a wholesome meal to kickstart the day, and now I can wish you a good morning.

Energized, I headed to the ole computer to publish my notes, and I should note that I had composed yesterday’s notes the day before, so all I had to do yesterday morning was to review and make a few spelling changes.

Part of today’s notes were prepared yesterday afternoon. One thing I did yesterday morning was to leave the house and get a cup of coffee before I went to get Alex and take him to school. I was able to get the coffee and still get Alex to school on time.

Often when I return from dropping Alex off at school, I tend to get on the ole recliner and take a short nap before reading. Yesterday, having a cup of real coffee I was awake and did not need a nap before reading.

Later in the morning I checked the oil in the old air compressor, and it was at the level needed. It doesn’t get used that much but maintenance is important.

Thursday night in Hewitt, nothing going on. Sitting outside and there was no traffic on our street, the only interesting thing happened was the kids next door came over and wanted to go in our backyard and play. They have said in the past that our back yard doesn’t have the dog droppings that their back yard has. I did get some treats for the Tres and let them give him a couple treats.

Different topic: I have been trying to come up with a time and way to get our yard mowed. This Saturday we will be going out to lunch with the family to celebrate Mother’s Day, a day early. If Alex were to come over that morning and mow, he would need to come much earlier, assuming he would want to go home and get a shower before lunch. if he mowed after lunch, he might be too full of food and not want to work. I plan to discuss this with him today.

Photos: you did not ask but I do have two photos if I can find them. One is of a blooming cacti plant in the front yard and the other is of a black berry that has turned red, yep we will be saying ouch before long as they are starting to ripen.

I have no real plans for today, I might get on my hands and knees and after praying, pull some weeds, I did say might. I guess I will stop for now, please have a good and fun filled day while you stay safe in all you do.

            We are hoping you are having a good morning, and your entire day will also be a good day.  Wednesday was a good day here at the Ford’s homestead, I did venture from the homestead to get a cup of coffee at the star coffee place. They even had several people in the drive-through ahead of me, but I did eventually get my cup. Back at home I was able to finish reading from Jeremiah in the bible and I also read Lamentations too. I have for several years been reading in order first a book from the Old Testament and then a book from the New Testament. I have done this so I could say I have read the entire bible, and I have read the entire bible several times. When I finish this time, I will no longer read in order, but I will read what I find interesting.

            A different topic: I had recently noted that I had written a story about hell on earth and when I read it lately, I noticed that I did not have a 4^th chapter. Well, I have found the 4^th chapter, and it is something! After reading the fourth chapter I see that I need to write additional chapters.

            Different topic: I have several photos, and some are of flower’s blooming.

 

            In the first photo we see the Moon Plant and two white blooms, these bloom at night and when the sun light hits them in the daytime the blooms fall apart.

            Topic change: When my favorite wife came home from the grocery stores yesterday, we decided to go into Waco, and I would do some shopping. I wanted to look for and possibly get a new hose real and I also wanted to get a new clock for the garage. The old clock in the garage will work properly for a few days with a new battery and then it goes crazy, and the time can be off several hours.

            We first stopped at the Harbor store, and I was able to get a new hose reel with a 50-foot hose. Now the old hose reel was possibly 20 years old, and it was leaking air. The old hose was only 25 feet long; the new reel is 50 feet long. I had a coupon, and I save 30 dollars on the hose real and hose. We then went to the cheap store, and I purchased another President Trump clock, I had another coupon, and I saved a dollar on the clock.

            The new clock is in the garage, and it is about 45 seconds behind the other clock that is in the office when it says, “we will make America great again”.           

            I then got on the floor of the garage and removed the old hose reel and began the installation of the new hose reel. The new reel is heavy, and I had to drill new holes in the bench where I installed it. I put in about two hours removing the old reel, cleaning the area and then installing the new reel. I then put the air compressor back into position and tried the new air hose, it worked.             All the work completed I then put everything away and brought the Ford’s ole van back into the garage. Then I was able to get an adult beverage for my ole body and sit down and enjoy the nice afternoon weather, with my favorite wife.

            Good morning to you and to that other person too. I don’t have any new news for today so I will just present odd things that come to mind, yes, I always present odd thinks that come to mind.

            My key topic for today will probably be “the Dons trip to the hair stylists.” The author of this soon to be less than interesting journal had an odd schedule for the day. After dropping the Alex off at school and returning to the Homestead the Don had to catch the cat Molly and put her in the crate so he could take her to the vet, that was not an easy process as she did not like the crate.

Molly in the crate and my arm injured from Molly’s claws, (I hope I don’t get cat scratch fever) I decided to go to the Coffee place and get a cup before going to the vet. I positioned Molly in the back seat of the Ford’s ole Chevy and headed out for a cup of real coffee. arriving at the Star coffee place I saw vehicles in the drive through basically wrapped around the building. That would have been at least a 15-minute wait for a cup, so I turned around and head to the vet.

I arrived at the vet 20 minutes early and they were willing to allow this ole senior person to bring Molly in early. The checkup went well and as I had stated earlier Molly did not want to get in the crate, but this time she jumped off the table and voluntarily got int to the crate, knowing she would be going home.

Back at home the Molly was happy to get out of the crate and I decided to again attempt to get a cup of real coffee, so I jumped into the Ford’s ole Chevy (actually I eased into the vehicle) and headed to the coffee place. As I was driving, I decided to get my hair cut first and then if it wasn’t too close to lunch, I would get the cup of real coffee.

At the hair dresser I walked in and got my name on the list, there were names ahead of me. After a minute or so I asked how long it would be before I would get my hair cut, she looked at the list and said 30 minutes. I said I will be back I am going to get a cup of coffee; I got up and left. I drove to the coffee place and procured the cup of real coffee and headed back to the hair stylists. It was raining so hard when I arrived that I did not get out of the truck for about a minute, then the rain let up a little and I hurried into the stylists. She was ready for me, so cup in hand, I headed for the chair.

She did a very good job of removing hair from this old head. I paid the lady and even gave her a tip, then I headed for home, but on the way home I stopped at the pharmacist to get my prescription, then I phoned my favorite wife to see if she wanted me to get some chicken at the chicken place and bring it home for lunch. She did, and I did get the chicken.

As you can now see, and odd schedule for the Don to deal with. We hope you have a good day and please stay safe in all you do.

            This good morning to you is proceeding the rain and possible storms that may be here in Hewitt. The rain is said to be here about the time I get Alex off to school.

            My big plans for today will be, after taking Alex to school, I will take the cat to the vet for a checkup, and if time allows, I might get the hair on my old head cut.

            I saw a person on TV this morning and his tie cause me to think about securing the sench, aka strap on a saddle. Now I do not know if that is the proper spelling for sench, so I will use the word strap. When I started thinking about tying the strap on a saddle it was difficult for my ole head to remember the process, but after a few seconds the process came to me. Now if you can properly tie the knot on a tie, then you should be able to tie a saddle strap. In the olden days I knew how to tie the saddle strap so when it came time for me to tie a tie, I knew how.

            The above means nothing to you but it is a thought I had…

            My wife and I did sit outside for a while yesterday, it was windy, raining and cool so the outside time was very short.

             Different topic: I did come to the ole computer yesterday and find another story that I had written about 11 years ago, its name is, “Hell on Earth”. I started reading the story, actually I let the computer read the story to me as I followed the script on the screen. When I got to the 4th chapter, there was nothing printed. I then remembered that when I was writing this story even though I changed the names and locations, I was writing about my neighborhood, friends and family. I had gotten to a point that the 4^th chapter was going to have too many bad things happening and I just stopped writing. Yep, I am an odd ball author.

            Well, I guess I will stop for now and get started getting ready to get the Alex off to school. We hope you have an interesting day and that you will be nice to everyone you come in contact with, yes even your spouse. I also want everyone to be safe in all we do.

            Ok, we re starting another week here in Texas. The weather this morning is good and they are saying it will change as the day progresses. We may have rain later today and a low possibility of storms, oh, I need to wish you a good morning too. 

            Lest see if we did anything here at the Ford’s homestead yesterday. We did go to the cracker store for lunch and upon returning home my favorite wife decided to sit outside in the warm sun rather than sit inside the house. I took a short nap after lunch then I went outside also, but I sat in the shade.

            My favorite wife noted that we need some room in the garage so I proceeded to create some room. It is difficult to toss things out because we think we might need it in the future. I should note that I have about ten containers in which I store items like hardware items such as screws or small hinges, each container has a category of items inside. There is one container that has old cell phones in it, now I am sure that container could be emptied without any problems. 

            Any way I did work on moving and repositioning things and I came up with some extra room. Now how long we will have the extra room, who knows.

            I did set aside a rod and reel, a tackle box filled with many fishing items which I will give to Alex. I was able to toss out a few things but there are more that need to go. I think I should each day review things in the garage and find one thing to get rid of.

            My favorite wife and I did wash the pot hound Tres yesterday, and that is a job in itself. I would say he smelled a lot better after the bath.

            After all the work in the garage I did secure a cold drink and sit outside resting my old body.

            Today events are nonexistent, that means I have no plans for the day. I will get the Alex and take him to school hopefully on time, and then sit around waiting for the possible rain to arrive. I guess I should put the trash can out on the street and then head out to get Alex.

            We have a bright good morning going on here in Hewitt, we hope everyone has a good and cheerful day.

            We had a good day here at the Ford’s homestead yesterday, we did venture in t the city of Waco for our usual lunch and we did do some shopping but we purchased nothing. Back at home I was able to kick back and do very little in this sun filled day. I did finally venture out to the back 40 where I discovered there was no standing water and the grass was tall and dry. After negations with my favorite wife, it was decided that I should see if our yard man Alex would want to come over and mow the back 40.

            As you may have already guessed, Alex was willing to come over and work. the back yard was mowed and trimmed in one and a quarter hour. We compensated him for the work and returned him to his home. We did offer him the opportunity to go to lunch at the cracker store with us today, but he had to decline as his other grandmother was come to their home to visit today.

            All that work completed we prepared to sit outside and relax with a friend. As usual our conversation did get to the bible. I brought up the comment that I had read a verse about “welfare”. I was required to read the verse for better understanding, Jeremiah 29:7. Yes there were other biblical discussions one of which was about Angles.

            During the visitation aka rest period with my favorite wife and friend, I noticed that the moon was over head so I captured a photo to share with you.

             There was a discussion as to why we can only see part of the moon some of the time. 

We have no great plans for today other then enjoy the nice weather before the next weather arrives on Tuesday. We hope you have a goo day and please stay safe in all you do.

The following is a continuation from yesterday’s Time Trevel information.

Just for the fun of it, let’s pretend that one could travel in time. How would this work and would there be risks?       Please allow me to explain the imaginary time travel, and some of the risks involved.

It is obvious to this author; the time traveler would not travel from one location to another as previously stated. Time travel would be an exchange of time and or dates. Why do we define it as travel, when the person does not change locations? If it existed it would be, “Time exchange”.

If there were time exchange, the time exchange device would likely be a container of some type. The person would be inside a capsule (container), and the capsule containing the person would, by some unknown method, exchange the time and or date.  

The most likely method of time exchange would be to have the time machine disintegrate with the person in it and then reintegrate at a different point in time. This would be similar to a TV series where the people would be transported from the spaceship to another location. Their mode of transportation was not time exchange, it was travel from one location to another, but it did depict the disintegration and reintegration of the people. In our time exchange world, the container and its contents (person, animal and other items) would disintegrate and reintegrate.

 The main risk of time exchange would be, the location of the time machine. In other words what would be in the location of the time machine during the reintegration? If you were exchanging time for 30 minutes past or future, you would know the condition of the location of the time machine. If you were attempting to exchange time, for let’s say 50 years into the past or future, you would not know the condition of the location where the time machine would be, (let’s call it a landing site) when arriving in the past or future.

Remember, the landing location is, “the exact location the time machine was in, before the time exchange began”, and this is where the time machine will be, but in a different time.

I believe it would be better if I used the terms time travel or time movement as opposed to the term time exchange as most readers are use to and prefer the term time travel or time movement. 

Example #1, the time traveler was located at the corner of 10^th and vine, in Hewitt, TX, the year of 2020 when the time travel was initiated. Let’s assume the traveler went back in time 100 years. In 1920 there is no 10^th and Vine, there is no Hewitt, TX. Would the time traveler’s landing be in an open field, in a creek, in the center of a tree (where he / she is now part of the tree) or possibly reintegrated into some other object.

Example #2, the mover was located at the corner of 10^th and vine, in Hewitt, TX, the year of 2020 when the time movement was initiated. The mover went forward in time 100 years. In 2120. Would there be a 10^th and Vine, is there a Hewitt, TX. There is no way to know what condition the landing area would be in, in the future.

Let’s assume that either of the above time travelers were somehow on an automatic return to the present-day time period, which would occur 15 minutes after they arrived.

Let’s also assume that the traveler was unfortunate enough to have landed in the middle of a thorn bush. This person now has part of this thorn bush, not stuck to the outside of their body, but imbedded inside their body, due to the fact that they were reintegrated where the bush was located.

When they return to present day, they still have the bush imbedded in their body because the time travel machine would disintegrate their body with the bush inside the person, and then reintegrate the combination, in present day.

            The sun is bright this morning and we believe the rain has stopped for a while, so I will wish you, and only you, a good morning.

            The grass is wet and I don’t think there will be any yard work for our yard man Alex today, even though the back 40 needs to be mowed. We have no big plans for the day, other than normal Saturday routines.

            Yesterday after I posted the informative Friday post, I decide to read a couple short stories that I had written in the past. Now when I say I read them, I actually had the new computer to read them and watched the words as the computer read. The new computer’s voice is interesting and it reads in a way to keep your attention. Anyway, I found it interesting to hear things I had written a few years ago.

            Below is a short passage from the beginning of one story. 

                  Time Travel understood    

                  I began considering time travel while I was lying in bed, possibly half asleep. Was I dreaming, did I receive this understanding from an, “other world source”?

It occurred to me, that I should share my understanding of time travel, with others.

              First, there is no such thing as, “time travel” (to the future or past), which is evident by the fact that no one has traveled back into our, “present day”, from the future. If there was time travel, someone would have come back from the future, and we would then know, of time travel. I will explain in more detail later.

               Has time travel been invented elsewhere? No, it has not! As previously stated, time travel does not exist.

              You may have heard of the so-called wormhole and the hypothesis that, one could enter a wormhole at one point in the universe and travel through it to possibly the other side of the universe, or even to a different universe. The wormhole would be a short cut to somewhere else. The theory of the so-called wormhole, is probably not true, but even if it were true, traveling multiple lightyears is distance, not time!

Have we been visited by those from other worlds, using time travel? The short answer is, “No”!         Time travel if it existed, would be measured in seconds, minutes, hours and years. If one could go forward or backward in time, they would be in the same location just at a different time.

Other travel, including space travel is measured in distance such as feet, yards, miles or light years, and is movement from one location to another. We surely have been visited by others, but not using time travel. One could not travel into the future or past, from the present time period because, “the future does not yet exist, the past no longer exists.”  When traveling using any mode, (walking, driving, flying or time) one cannot travel to a non-existing location, or date.

We are in our present-day time period, not the past nor the future. What was in the past is gone, and what will be in the future is not yet. Neither exist and neither can be visited!

The above is a start to a story about time travel even though according to me, time travel does not exist.
