I am here again, and it will likely be another good morning. It is still dark outside as I attempt to enter this into the computer. I rolled out of bed this morning assuming it was 5:30am, but it was 4:30am. I let the dog out and I decided I would just stay up. What a way to start the day.
What did we do yesterday: I did very little, but I did get a photo of the sunrise as I was going to get Alex for school. You may not like it, but I found it interesting.
I did do my bible study homework. After lunch and a short rest period we did go to the store looking for a couple items, of which we found one. I did get gas in the Ford's ole pickup and I did go to the teller machine to get our weekly stipend. Back at home we decided to sit on the front porch for a while. Later we ventured back into the homestead and got ready to go out to supper.
Supper: our drinks and food cost $47.00 and that does not include an appropriate tip. Thinking about tips, I remember a time when I was still employed, there were at least 6 of us at a restaurant for supper. The meal was completed, and the bill came. I asked one of my supervisors to pay, he had a company credit card. The next day he brought the bill to me for approval, and I noticed the tip he gave; it was either $2.00 or $3.00. I could not believe he tipped that small.
Big plan for the day: get Alex to school on time and then pick him up this afternoon after school. Dave and Claire will be celebrating their anniversary this weekend and will not have time to get their son from school. They have been married for 22 years.
Not sure what the rest of today will be, we will just wait and see.
I am stopping for now. We hope you have a good day and please be safe in all you do.
Don the Ford
