Good morning, good day, good evening or good night, depending on when you read this.
Early yesterday morning I stopped at the coffee shop to get a cup before heading for Alex's home. It took a while to get through the line, but I did get through and was able to get Alex to school safely and on time. Returning home I took the cup of coffee and headed for the Ford's ole recliner for a short rest period.
Nap completed I did my first day of Bible study, we have six days of bible study each week. That completed I went into the garage and checked the screws and small nails that I may need to build the bird houses. I am hoping that Alex will want to help with the construction.
Speaking of Alex, his school orchestra has an event next Thursday night and it costs $10.00 per ticket. This is a fund raiser and that is why the $10.00 tickets.
Later in the day yesterday, after sitting on the front porch for a while with my favorite wife, I did get to work watering the potted plants. Speaking of water, we haven't had any rain for about a month now, but they are saying we will get some rain this Friday and Saturday. They even say we have a good chance for more than one inch, and we need it.
At happy time my wife allowed me to sit outside with her and enjoy the cool 81-degree temperature.
Plans for today: as usual I will try to get Alex to school on time and in a safe manner, then I need to go to the teller machine and get our weekly stipend. Other than that, I have no idea what I will be doing.
Our son Patrick and his wife Karla are supposed to come up for a visit this Saturday. I am hoping he will be able to make my phone start sending and receiving emails again. We usually go out for lunch when they come up, we are not sure if Dave and Claire will be able to go with us for lunch.
I guess I should stop for now, we hope you have a very good day and be safe in all you do.
Don the Ford
