March 24, 2025

We made it through the weekend, and we wish you a happy and good morning.

We had a good day yesterday; we did have lunch at the cracker store and after we went to the cheap store in Waco. At the cheap store we purchased several items one of which I have a photo for your enjoyment.

It is a 10-inch clock with the president's photo on it, and he says “Make America Great Again” twice, every hour. I have is set up to not say anything after 10:00pm through 5:00am.

Back at home I changed clothes as I needed to work in the back 40. Yes, I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt as it was hot. We have a tree that I had cut most of the way down, several years ago. Yes, I have a photo of the tree, but I had already removed some of the limbs before I took the photo.

When I had originally cut the tree down, I left about 8 feet of it standing, and even though the stump appears to be dead, limbs grow on it.

The other morning during one of our windy sessions I heard a sound which sound like a tree limb rubbing against another limb, so I started looking to see what was happening. I learned that this tall stump with limbs growing on it was cracked in the middle. I was afraid that it would break and fall on the #3 berry bed, so I decided to cut the limbs off.

After I had cut the limbs off, I pulled them to the trailer one at a time and cut them into pieces to put on the trailer, saving the heavier pieces to top load. The trailer appeared to be very full until I strapped it down which compressed the limbs.

There doesn’t appear to be much on the trailer with it all compress down.

Well, I have no real plans for today, maybe attempt to learn more about how to use the new computer, there are several things that are somewhat different from this ole unit, yes, I am using the old unit.

We hope you have a good day and be safe in all you do.

Senior ole person who still can do some things but not all things, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
