December 27, 2024

Good morning to everyone, we absolutely hope your day is getting started off in a positive way. Wow, I used the word absolutely in the above sentence, and I began to think about the word. The word can mean, "without exception", yes, there are other similar definitions of the word. I have said the word a couple times, and I find that it seems to be made up of three parts. First are abs, which means "abdominal muscles", then there is solute, which in military terms means, "to present arms, or show respect" (even though it is spelled wrong), then finally there is ly, which if spelled correctly is a person's name "Lee".

Absolutely = abdominal muscles, present arms, and person name, how do they come up with these words?

Yesterday's major event: I was setting at the Ford's ole desk when I looked up at the monitor of one of the security cameras, I was surprised at what I saw. It was so unusual to see something like that on a monitor, I had to get up and go to the front door to see it in real life.

Wow, a Hewitt fire truck with all its lights on in front of the neighbor's house, the firemen must have been inside as I did not see any firemen, and it was raining at that time like pouring it out of a boot. My favorite wife decided to come and stand at the door with me as I was trying to be nosy, I mean trying to understand what was going on.

After a few minutes the ambulance arrived, and they took a stretcher into the house. After a little while they came out of the house with someone on the stretcher, but we could not see who it was, as they had the face of the person covered due to the rain that was coming down.

The fire truck shut off its lights and left the scene, but the ambulance took several minutes before it departed. As the ambulance departed the scene the lady who lived in the house came out and got in her vehicle and left behind the ambulance. We now assume the person on the stretcher was her husband.

Later we learned that the husband had not been feeling well for a couple days and this morning he went out to the mailbox and upon returning to the house he was dizzy, so his wife said he was going to the hospital. We learned that they would keep him over night, and we do not know what the reason is for the illness.

Different subject: I have a one-of-a-kind photo; it is of the Don where he seems to be enjoying a nap after eating leftovers yesterday from the Christmas Day meal.

What, a great photo like that and all you can see is the tree behind the senior person?

Other non-necessary information: I was given a card as a Christmas present to a booze shop in Waco. I guess I should go into the booze shop and buy something with the card so that I might have something to ingest on New Years Eve, you know, something to help and ole senior person sleep. 😊

Let's go to a different message; on Christmas day when we had friends over, we were all sitting at the table enjoying some leftover food from the noon meal, when I noticed that Tres was keeping an eye on things. You might need to look past the paper bowls to see his head laying on the table. Do you think he was listening to the discussion or looking for something to eat?

Yesterday afternoon we went to supper at the George's restaurant, the food was good, and the service was very good. The server we had always comes to our table and talks for a while. The meal over we came back to the Ford's house, but we did not sit outside.

Well, I guess that is all for now, I have zero plans for the day, so we will see what happens. We want to wish you a good day and please stay safe in all you do.

Naps be good.

Senior ole person who is good at taking naps, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
