The first day of winter and it is 29 degrees here in Hewitt, even though winter is here we still wish you a good morning. When Tres and I went out front this morning we saw frost on all the homes roofs. This is also the shortest day of the year.
Different topic; the other morning as Tres and I went out front Tres noticed something flying in the sky and he asked me what that was. I looked and I saw something with lights on it flashing as it flew over the area. I know it was a plane but it could have easily been seen as a drone. Now this plane flew in a straight line, and it did not stop and set still in the sky.
Topic change; I dropped the kids off at school and the traffic was so bad that if I took my normal route to leave the school parking lot, I would not have been able to leave for probably 15 minutes or more. I knew of a different way to exit the parking area and it is not for public use but I took it any way and I was able to get out of the traffic in about one minute.
Let’s look at todays’ plans; we plan to get our yard man Alex over here today to do some leaf removal. I am sure that we will stop at the Star coffee place for a cup before we start this extreme work load. The leaves are dry and there are plenty of them. We will work as a team, Alex doing most of the work and me supervising. If we are able to complete the work successfully, we will then head into Waco for a sandwich. We usually stop at the cheap store on the way back home just to see if there is anything we need. As you can see, nothing out of the normal for our Saturday.
We hope you are ready for this coming Wednesday; I think we are almost ready. I guess I will stop for now, we hope you have a nice and safe day while you are wrapping that last present.
Winter is here.
Senior ole person who needs to go get the yard man and get started, Don the Ford
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
