We are having a good morning here in Hewitt as we wait for the rain to come. For some reason I keep thinking this is Sunday. If it was Sunday, it would be Easter Sunday and it would be our anniversary.
Let us see what happened yesterday: if my memory serves, I don't think much happened. I did get on my knees outside and removed some weeds and leaves from a couple of flower beds. They do look better and my old body isn't too tired today.
I checked on the tomato plants, and they all look good, but the squirrels have been digging in the soft dirt.
My favorite wife and I sat outside yesterday afternoon. We did not have any visitors to converse with.
Today Patrick and Karla are supposed to come to our home, we will likely go out to lunch. Dave and Claire have not been feeling well so they will not go to lunch with us.
If we get the rain that is predicted today that would be good, it is supposed to cool down as the day progresses but not get too cold. Alex is out of school Monday so we will try to get him to do some yard work on Monday.
