December 15, 2025

It is a cold morning here in Hewitt, it is 28 degrees at the Ford's homestead, but the so-called hot house is above freezing at 40 degrees.

I have been commenting on the tree leaves and that they are turning into fall colors. Well, yesterday morning I came to the Ford's old desk and when I looked at the security cameras I was then surprised. There were leaves on the driveway along the garage door and around the swing. I do have a photo for my enjoyment.

I was able to remove most of these leaves, as I did not want then to blow into the garage.

Sunday was a do-nothing day as we sat around with nothing to do. When you can't get up and walk around the house and you are basically stuck to a chair, that is a boring day. The TV had nothing worth watching and it was too cool to go outside. I did go to the Cracker store and purchased some food to go.

I did go out and push the trash can out to the street early this morning and it was a good thing as the trash truck came by early to get the trash. While I was outside moving the trash can I noticed that our flag was hung on the light at the top of the pole. I attempted to use the rope and get the flag unhooked but I could not. That means I will need to bring the pole down to get the flag unhooked. That is not easy, but it is something that I can do.

I don't need to take Alex to school today so I again have little to do. I might go to the store to get a couple of grocery items but other than that nothing doing.

I did have some problems with the printer yesterday, but I requested help from our son Patrick, and it is now working again. I still have a problem that I will look into as it does not seem to print the color red as it should. All the ink levels appear to be close to full, wow there is always something to get my attention.

Our last bible study meeting for this year (2025) is tonight, and I would like to go, but I don't like leaving my favorite wife alone at night, even though she says it is ok.

Well, allow me to stop for now and I will wish you a good and safe day.

Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
