Good Sunday morning to you all, and happy Father's Day to all the fathers, we hope everyone has a good and safe day.
Our plans for today are that Patrick and Karla are coming to Hewitt, and we hope that Dave Claire and their family will also come over so we can all go out to lunch together. We usually have some lively conversations with each other. We understand that going out to lunch with eight people will mean we'll have to wait to be seated for quite a while.
I have several photographs that I'm going to post, and I'll try to describe them as I post them. First, we have a photo of black berries and there are three large berries together on one small vine.
Then we have a photo of some voluntary flowers blooming on the fence at the ditch. Then we have some mushrooms that seem to be everywhere due to the extremely wet weather we have been having.
Then I have a photo of a green lizard on the wall above the garage door. I had an interesting event the other day when I was out riding the trike. In a different neighborhood I saw a road runner. Now I am not talking about a person running on the road, I am talking about a bird known as a road runner. This is the first time I have seen a road runner in several years. When we first moved here many years ago, there were not many houses around and there were many road runners. Nice to see them still in the area.We went out for lunch with some friends yesterday to celebrate one of our friends' birthdays, we're not sure whether she was 80 or 81 because she said something about 79. I guess when we get old, we don't want to brag about how old we are, we had a good time.
I will attempt to stop for now. We hope everybody has a good day and if you're a father we hope you have a good Father's Day and stay safe in all you do.
Don the photographer.
