Good morning to you and to that other person too. We hope everyone will have a good and restful day, if not for you, at least for my favorite wife and I.
Yesterday’s work load for two ole people: I did get the kids to school on time and returned home and rested for a while before heading out into the cold to work. I did layer up and I stayed warm even in the cold. It did warm up outside as the day progressed.
Putting Christmas decorations away.
My first project was to get the items out of the Shed. In the following photo we may see items that I had removed from the shed.
That was not everything I removed from the shed. As I removed items, I did take them to the garage, photo to follow. Empty cartons waiting at the door of the garage to be filled.
I have another photo of the inside of the garage, past the boxes.
We worked together about 4 hours to get things packed up and returned to the shed. In the next photo we see the shed which is now filled. I have the Christmas items at the back, then the fall items, then the easter items, them my tools. That allows me to get to the items as needed.
I did get the Ford’s ole van back into the garage.
We were and are both tired and need a few minutes or maybe a day to rest. I should note, that after we completed yesterday’s tiring work, we remembered that there are two Christmas decorations on the front porch. We did not attempt to remove them yesterday, maybe today we will have the energy. I should also note, that my favorite wife has removed, packed and put away all the decorations that were in the house, and there were many more in the house than outside.
This morning our ole bodies are still tired and aching as we attempt to get started moving. As usual I need to get the grand kids to school this morning and my favorite wife will do the grocery shopping. Never any rest for the ole senior people.
I will stop for now, we hope you have a restful day, and that we all stay safe in all we do.
Is it almost over? That is, Christmas over?
Senior ole person who might try to get out of his recliner today, Don the Ford
May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
