Good morning from us to you, we hope your day will be safe and happy.
Monday morning after dropping Alex off at school I drove to the post office to get stamps. Stamps acquired I headed to the hospital, and I walked to my favorite wife's room. I opened the door, and she was lying there in a dark room asleep; it was 8:30am. Next to her bed was her breakfast, it had been there for at least an hour, and it was cold. No one had come in to get her ready to eat. I did complain and they have now put a note on the door to wake her when breakfast is served.
Yesterday they showed her how to get into and out of a vehicle, they said we may go outside tomorrow and try getting into our truck, we are not going home it is just practice. They have loaned me a wheelchair to take to the house and see where we will have problems getting around. My favorite wife will not be able to walk for quite a while.
I also missed another bible study meeting Monday evening.
Today I will take Alex to school and then it will be another day here at the hospital. We hope the rehab helps when we do get back home.
