Good foggy morning here in Hewitt. We did get some rain yesterday which started off very lite that morning, but it grew into heavy rain and winds later in the day. I have a photo to prove that we did get some rain.
I checked the expensive rain gage this morning and we received 2.25 inches of rain yesterday. I think the drought is over.
Needless to say, we did not sit outside yesterday afternoon and the cat Molly along with the dog Tres were staying close to their humans.
Today we have no big plans. We learned yesterday afternoon that Alex has a concert for us to go to this evening, I think we will be able to head out to date night (supper) and then make to the concert hall in time for the music.
Different topic: Tres lays out in the garage every morning while I am in here entering data into the ole computer. Every morning there is a fellow who walks his dog down our street. When Tres sees them, he starts barking and I open the door and make him come inside. After they walk down the block and back up, I let the Tres go back out into the garage.
Why did I tell you all that, Tres has now learned to bark at them and then come to the door and come inside without me calling him. He is a smart dog.
I guess I will stop for now, we hope you have a wonder filled day and that we all stay safe in all we do.

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow.
