To all the fathers out there, “Happy Father’s Day! We hope you have a blessed day.

Too all those who are not fathers, we wish you a, “Good Morning and Good Day!

I will attempt to keep this tale short, so you have time to do other things. Speaking of tales, as we were sitting outside yesterday afternoon we were not discussing, “The Tale of Two Cities”, even though I did have a cocktail, but there was a discussion about a single tail. I have a photo taken yesterday. The tail of one cat.

Speaking of yesterday, we did go into town for our sandwich lunch, we did go to the cheep store and we got some spicy pretzel pieces. These pretzel pieces are good if you like things with jalapeno spice on them, and you need to have something to drink if you are going to eat them. We got two bags as we were shopping, but decided to get another bag to give to a good friend.

Back at home after a short rest My favorite wife went outside and started trimming some bushes and removing weeds, while I started working on the new string trimmer. I got it together, I added oil, and gas. This trimmer is a 4-cycle motor, most gas-powered string trimmers are 2-cycle motors. I read the instructions as to how to start it and it started as indicated. One neat thing about this trimmer is, the head where the string is, does not turn when you start the trimmer, it only turns when you speed the motor up. That effect makes it easier to start the trimmer.

I then mowed the front yard and used the new trimmer to trim, NICE!

Mower and trimmer put away we rested on the front porch and I munched on some of the spicy pretzels. We noticed the friend who we wanted to give a bag of the pretzels to, out in his front yard working, so I walked over to his house and presented the bag to him. We haven’t heard from him yet as to whether he like them or not.

Later in the afternoon, before we sat outside, we washed the dog in the back 40.

Sitting outside was nice yesterday as there was a light breeze and we did not need to run the noisy big fan.

This morning as Tres and I ventured out front for his morning review of the yard, I noticed a single bloom that is in the Jasmin bed, and I have a photo.

Well, I guess I will stop for now, we hope you have a good day and as always please stay safe in all you do.

Tail of one cat!

Senior ole retired person who says Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, Don the Ford

May today be better than your best day, but not as good as tomorrow!
