If you could send someone into the past, their interaction, in any way, would change the future to some degree. Those changes, which would be viewed as positive changes for some, would produce equally negative change for others (for all actions, there is an opposite and equal reaction) (for all positive interaction, there is an opposite and equal negative interaction).
If you could travel into the future, you would know of events that have not yet happened in your present day. Knowing of those events, you would (willingly or unwillingly) change things in present time, which would change the events that should have happened in the future. So the future you traveled to, wasn’t the future as it should have been, instead it would be the altered future that you have affected.
Below we have the, “What will be, will be, effect theory”!
Some would say; traveling into the past or future, would cause some degree of event change, and that is the way it was meant to be, thus time travel, either way, is just a natural part of past and future.
Let us consider the following:
Someone, a total stranger, comes to your house this evening. He knocks on your door and says, “I am a relative of yours from the future, I have traveled back in time to help you.
This person explains how they are related to you. He then says, “I want to inform you of something that is going to happen in the near future. If you listen to me, you will live another 20 years, and you will acquire much wealth.”
Would you believe the stranger, who came to your door saying he is a relative of yours, was from the future, or a con man? You would probably tell them in no uncertain terms that you believe he is crazy, leave or I will call the police!
I don’t think it would be easy to get people to believe you are from the future, unless you were to come back and meet yourself.
That brings us to the next consideration.
A man whom we will call Sam is forty years old and is married to a pretty lady whose name is Perl. Now Perl is thirty, ten years younger than Sam. Sam goes back in time ten years and he is all happy about meeting himself ten years younger.
Let’s review the cast, now that we have gone back in time 10 years.
There is Sam at 40 years old, and Sam who is 30 years old, and Perl who is 20 years old. In this author’s all-knowing opinion, the two Sam’s would initially be happy to see each other.
The younger Sam would be interested in seeing what he would look and act like in ten years. He would also be interested in learning all he could from the older Sam and the future.
The older Sam would want to tell the younger Sam all he could. The older Sam would be treated somewhat like a father figure when he was talking with himself.
Perl of the past, does she now have two husbands, one forty years old and one thirty? What happens if the older Sam decides to stay in the past?
The older Sam has the same identifications as the younger Sam. Finger prints are the same, blood type everything is the same even the SSN.
Could the older Sam stay in the past with the younger Perl, and have a wife half his age, while the younger Sam goes to the future in place of the older Sam?
In the future, the younger Sam who is thirty, would be the same age as Perl. Would Perl be happy with the younger version of Sam?
Now do I have you thinking?
Yes there will be more.
